Bel's Nest Log: M spent the night laying in
bole, she gets up 6:33:29am; M calls out to D 7:12:05; M to LB 7:13:59 &
out 7:14:12; IR light off 7:34:22; D in LSD 7:40:30; D lays down 7:43:09; D
gets up 7:44:46, flies out BD 7:45:13; M in LSD w/fluff 10:04:55; M alerts
10:09:06 & D lands on LB 10:09:08; D also vocal; they track something
flying behind nest 10:9:40; both yell until 10:09:46, still watching something;
things seem calmer and D moves down LB 10:14:09; D to nest 10:14:19; D lays
down 10:16:11; M backs up onto left rail 10:19:02; M out LSD 10:21:24; D stands
up 10:21:27 then flies out LSD 10:21:41; D in LB/nest 10:40:36; digs, then lays
down 10:42:39; D gets up 10:59:23; D out over LB 11:01:47; flyby from back to
left side 11:20:27 (mom?); M flies by right side then comes in FD 11:45:21,
after doing some digging M lays down 11:47:40; M chirps 12:18:18, later she
calls to D quite a few times 12:18:38, 12:23:40, etc. ; M gets up 1:15:40 &
digs in nest; D in to LB 2:50:17; D to nest and moves a stick for M 2:50:34; D
rouses 2:53:45; D out BD 2:54:05. M rouses 3:00:24; M moves stick out of bole
then digs 3:57:59; Lays back down 4:00:34; M gets up 4:15:27 and digs in bole
again; M rearranges sticks 4:17:18; M moves back over bole and digs some more 4:23:57;
M stands at edge of bole 4:36:31; M starts getting antsy and moving around bole
4:40:05; M straddling bole with feathers fluffed up 4:41:03; shutters then
changes position 4:41:43; shutters and changes position again 4:42:11; final
push 4:42:53; Can see egg on cam 1 at 4:45:56 (cam 2 at 4:43:01); M rolls egg
4:46:04; M fusses with bole and egg and finally settles 5:00:21; D in BD
5:17:00; D to LB 5:30:12; D out 5:30:20; M gets up 5:31:04; rolls egg 5:31:33;
M lays back down 5:33:33; M up 5:38:05; egg roll 5:38:14; M lays back down
5:40:46; M snuggles head into wing 6:02:42; IR on 6:12:36.
