wrestles "wonky" stick 7:40: 57-7:43:02; then spreads fluff; B10 PS
7:43:36; M uncovers some nestover pelt 7:43:36 & feeds B10; M wrestles with
stick again 7:57:59; M to LB 8:03:16 & out 9:03:27. S/C#1-D in FD w/fish 8:14:13, squeeing M in FD w/squirrel 8:14:43,
D flies over M and lands on LB 8:15:32. S/C#2-D
out 8:16:45 as M feeds fish to B10; M moves over to shelter B10 8:22:07; M
starts chirping, then steadily increases in volume as she sees D approaching
8:54:38, D in BD w/mangled coot 8:55:03, M gets up 8:57:18, D hops to LB
8:56:22 & out 8:56:38; B10 sits up 9:24:23 & M feeds baby some coot;
B10 lays back down, tired from eating so much (lol) 9:30:28; M moves aerate
nest & straddle B10 9:32:43; ; M bites at annoying stick 9:33:39 & B10
chitters in protest; B10 turns to nibble on Mom's talons 9:43:55 then climbs
under her; M moves over to pantry 9:49:12 then, as the wind picks up, moves
back to snuggle w/B10 9:49:47 (biting annoying stick now & then); M starts
calling 10:32:25, D flies in BD w/coot 10:32:32 & M chirps her gratitude; M
stands up 10:36:18, loses her balance in the wind & bumps into D 10:36:41. S/C#3-M hops to front of nest 10:36:51, M to LB
10:37:05 & out 10:37:10; D stares at something flying over & around
area 10:44:38 as B10 naps contently; D moves closer to B10 11:02:44 & baby
spreads out a wing & a foot 11:02:48; D works on wonky stick 10:03:48 &
steps on B10 while back up 11:04:49; not deterred, D works on stick some more
11:05:07; wind really picks up 11:05:26; B10 PS 11:05:42; D moves over to stand
near B10 11:06:05; B10 sits up to chirp and preen those itchy pinfeathers
11:07:05; B10 stands up briefly & flaps wings 11:07:29; B10 lays head on
D's talon & bites at pine bough 11:09:40; B10 tries to crawl under Dad (not
much fits, lol) 11:11:09; D tracks something flying nearby 11:59:08. S/C#4-M in BD w/fluff 12:05:22, D to RB
12:05:34 & out 12:05:45;M out LSD 12:25:18; M in BD 1:04:16 & appears
to cast pellet of side of nest 1:04:25; B10 stands up & flaps wings
1:08:02; M tries to tame the wonky stick 1:10:56, tugs hard flapping wings
1:11:11 but it's stuck, she tries again 1:11:44; M out LSD 1:13;12. S/C#5-D in to LB 1:31:12 & calls to M
1:31:33; D on LB 1:54:30pm, to nest 2:04:49; feeding 2:05:18; B10 PS 2:05:31;
B10 plays w/stick 2:33:57; D babysits while B10 rests 2:43:00; D sitting/laying
next to B10 3:01:11; D out LSD 3:10:49, B10 sits up tall to see what's going on
3:11:49; D in via left side rail 3:12:15, D out LSD 3:20:15; D in over RB
3:22:47, D out BD 3:24:59; D in BD 3:29:26 (I think Dad must be looking for Mom
with all his coming & goings). S/C#6-M
in BD w/fluff 3:45:14; D out LSD 3:46:06; feeding 3:46:37; M gulps down a piece
that was too big for B10 4:02:16; after cuddling with B10, M gets up to spread
some fluff 4:29:35; M stretches leg & tail feathers 4:53:09; B10 sits up
4:53:50 for another feeding, then lays back down to be fed 4:55:16 (wind is
still gusting pretty strong); M moves over to straddle B10 5:09:04, B10 rests
head on his favorite talon-pillow 5:10:44 but M keeps moving while aerating
nest; B10 picks at some fluff 5:11:38 then tries out the talon pillow again
5:12:02; M stretches leg & tail feathers 6:06:46, then heads over to the
pantry 6:07:02; M feeds B10 a bite of coot 6:08:40 then starts eating, M feeds
B10 another bite 6:09:53 then gobbles down some bones as B10 watches in awe, M
swallows coot head 6:10:45 & moves onto nestover squirrel; B10 gets fed
6:11:28; B10 PS 6:18:46 while M eats some squirrel; M moves some fluff 6:19:39
then moves close to B10; B10 tries to squirm under M as wind picks up 6:20:09;
per sela-B10 half rolls back into bowl 6:20:30; wind settles down a bit & M
moves to back on nest 6:22:56. S/C#7-M
flies out LSD 6:23:22; D flies in BD 6:24:12. S/C#8-M
in LSD w/lots of fluff 6:38:15; D aerates around B10 & B10 tries to bonk
him 6:39:00; M spreads some fluff 6:39:59; M starts eating 6:40:35; D out BD
6:40:48; M starts de-furring squirrel 6:41:00; B10 PS'S 6:55:03 then watches M
polish off some nestovers 6:55:14; M swallows coot foot 6:56:00; M offers B10 a
bite but he's not interested 6:57:34; M gulps down another coot leg (?) 7:04:55
& has trouble getting it all the way down, shakes her head 7:05:25 &
7:05:37, finally gets it down 7:05:55; just as M straddles B10 at 7:06:50 the
coot leg gives her more trouble, lots of head shaking until she gets it back
down 7:08:06, IR light on 7:08:07; coot leg strikes again with more head
shaking & gyrations by Mom until around 7:08:43; M aerates nest and settles
in for the night 7:10:36; after some preening, M tucks head to sleep 7:24:57pm.
