Nest Weekend - (74 days old) IR light off 6:35:40am just as B10 gets
up, stretches & wingersizes then hops/flaps to Y-nook 6:36:06 (she's ready
to greet all the peeps below gathered for Nest Weekend); B10 peers out the left
BD to see if anyone is driving up to visit 6:36:39; PS 6:37:09 then
wingersizing; rouses 6:46:20; nice wing hop back to Y-nook 6:46:28; steps down
to nest 7:05:03 to inspect beneath the LB, then to the pantry to nibble
7:05:17; wing hop to Y-nook 7:14:10, moves up LB 7:14:49; M whizzes right past
B10 perched on LB & delivers a headless
fish 7:47:26; feeding & self-feeding, B10 takes a piece to Y-nook to
eat 7:54:54, she finishes it & goes to right rail; Cam 1 reset 8:51-ish;
B-10 perched on LB near Y-nook for 30 minutes or so after the reset
(8:51:46-9:27:32) then steps down to nest 9:27:34 to preen & look out the
BD, head scratch 9:28:17, still preening & looking out BD 9:47:07; PS
10:03:42; yoga stretch 10:12:43; another PS 10:43:49 then a big wing spread;
nice wing hop to Y-nook 10:44:18, wing flaps then hops back down to nest
10:44:23, hop flaps to right rail 10:44:39, hop flaps to Y-nook 10:45:01; B10
continues to hop/flap around the nest putting on a good show for the peeps below;
at 10:47:15, she's moving up the LB continuing her show :); Per Jani, at 11:00am Mom is still on her perch. B10 hops to nest 11:10:28; lays down 11:15:52, still
resting at 11:45:00; still resting at 12:09:33, 12:27:45; B10 stretches 12:32:38; PS 12:33:08 then squees &
hops to Y-nook; to nest 12:34:23; hops across nest 12:36:29 & stares out
over right rail; 12:38:14, hops to nest & wingercises up a storm 12:38:18;
B10 at right rail 12:39:35; head scratch 1:06:44; lays down 1:07:47, still
resting 3:15:00; B10 gets up 3:17:00, yoga & wing stretch, hops across nest
3:17:33; PS 3:17:50… B10 perched on back rail facing forward 6:33:00; Reset
6:30 & 6:39; head scratch 7:06:58; PS 7:08:34; hop flaps down to nest
7:08:48 & steps up on right rail; soaring wings on the back rail 7:09:39;
hop flap across nest 7:10:16, she does this several times; pecking at the back
cam limb 7:13:14pm. P.S.:
Mom chased off hawks this afternoon.
