M & B10 sleeping peacefully 1:21:30; M awakens to preen 1:35:56, then back
to sleep w/head tucked 1:37:35; M rouses 1:48:02 & preens again, waking B10
momentarily in the process; M tucks head again 1:53:42; no rest for the weary,
M wakes to preen again 2:13:14 then back to sleep 2:15:18; both M & B10
still sleeping 3:05:00; B10 sits up 3:14:00, PS 3:14:19; M wakes up 3:14:36
& both preen; B10 lays back down 3:15:04; B10 moves a rail stick 3:21:56
& M aerates; B10 resting & M sitting up prior to Cam 1 reset at 3:30am;
both M & B10 wake to preen 4:17:21,
B10 immediately goes back to sleep; M tucks head to sleep & B10 wakes again
to wing stretch 4:18:19 which starts M on another brief preening session; B10
stands up 4:19:45, PS's 4:20:12; B10 lays back down next to M 4:21:11, both
continue to preen; M tucks head & both go back to sleep 4:30:36; as sirens
are heard; D calls to M 5:09:54, M answers 5:10:03; back to sleep 5:14:07;
MORN: B10 preens 6:33:00; B10 yoga stretches 6:34:58, PS 6:35:16; M chatters to
D 7:03:52, M out BSD 7:03:56; B10 scratches head 7:04:36; IR light off 7:09:17;
B10 nibbles on nestover and/or plays w/feather 7:17:26, carries it over to
right front rail to say good morning to Bel; D in BSD w/large black fish
7:40:04 & B10 immediately grabs it by the mouth & drags it to him/her;
D takes it back & starts to unzip & feed 7:41:11; B10 self-feeding
7:51:58; D to LB 7:52:46 & out 7:53:02; fish moves and B10 backs away
7:53:09; M in FD 7:58:30, nibbles on fish & feeds B10. Per Bel: After dad
delivered the fish, he flew to their favorite perch. Mom flew into the nest.
Around 8:03 dad flew off the perch and across the entrance road toward that
field. Can’t tell if he went left or right to Garden Lakes or the river; M to
LB 8:29:14 & out 8:29:26; B10 PS 9:57:07 then some heavy duty preening; M
in FD w/pine bough 10:11:34, snatch & grab w/nestovers 10:13:21, feeding,
self-feeding; B10 plays w/clump of greenery 10:21:52; together time through
11:37:00; M to RB 11:45:47; M out 11:45:55; M in BD 12:06:06; B10 scoots a
little closer to M 12:09:59; B10 nibbles on the fish M is standing on 12:20:34;
M gets the hint and feeds 12:21:01; M to LB 1:05:23; M out 1:05:27; B10 nice
left wing stretch 2:12:30; B10 PS 2:24:27; B10 nibbling on something 2:34:04;
Buddha sitting 2:53:14; D in BSD w/squirrel 3:41:45, feeds B10 then dines
himself; B10 PS 4:04:04; B10 grabs some sketti from D 4:12:27; B10 stands fully
on right front rail 4:25:13; D finishes up his squirrel dinner & turns over
the pantry 4:33:00; D keeps a look out
and bites at flies while B10 relaxes until B10 gets up to do a ps 5:01:08; D
gives the last of the squirrel to B10 who swallows it like a pro 5:30:52;
another ps 5:32:01; D rouses 5:32:02; D out BSD 5:32:17; Cam 1 reset 6:31 pm; M in BD w/fluff 7:03:58; B10 ps 7:06:10; M just looks
around probably waiting to see if D brings anything; M tired of waiting digs in
nest 8:02:46; M out BD 8:06:51; IR on 8:23:45; B10 is alone on the nest as of
10:55pm.
