6:19am; Cam 1 reset 6:48am; B10 lands way out on a left branch 8:09:27, hops to
nest 8:10:00 to check for nestovers; hops to LB 8:14:06 and starts calling for
breakfast; B10 moves into view on LB really chirping for breakfast 8:38:33; hops to nest 8:44:11, picks up a pine cone
8:44:43 & plays with it & fluff; drops pinecone off left side of nest
8:48:42, plays with a piece of straw or twig 8:48:53; to LB 8:50:11, rouses
8:51:37, to nest 8:51:48, lays down 8:52:44; quickly stands up & looks
around 9:03:33, head scratch 9:05:13, lays back down 9:06:37 quietly chirping
occasionally; gets up squeeing excitedly as if P is around 9:20:18 but no one
comes in; intently watches something 9:21:50; goes to 11 o'clock branch
9:26:40, back to nest 9:28:31, lays down 9:32:21, gets up to play & explore
9:51:28; B10 sitting at BD waiting patiently for food 10:02:23; lays down
10:03:45, still resting at 10:17:49; B10 stands up 11:53:17, spots something
11:54:01 & squees, gets louder 11:54:11, M in FD w/squirrel 11:54:28 &
B10 is there to grab it, a flurry of feathers as M gets out of the way
11:43:31, B10 rushes M again 11:43:35 & chases her to the y-nook then to RB
11:54:38; B10 fusses at M 11:55:38 then foots the squirrel 11:56:09, starts
eating 11:56:42, M moves on RB & B10 fusses at her 11:57:25; B10 making
progress on the squirrel 12:09:34pm but keeps looking up at M; B10 pulls
squirrel to back of nest 12:12:49 and pulls on squirrel tail; repositions
squirrel 12:15:52 & 12:06:09 & 12:16:34, finally gets it in a
"good" spot 12:16:48 & resumes defurring 12:17:06; eating
12:20:28; pulls out sketti 12:28:25; eats some sketti 12:40:30; M flies off RB
12:48:03 & B10 looks briefly then continues to eat; M in BSD 12:50:52 &
B10 charges her & grabs her foot, M shakes loose 12:50:58, M moves to front
of nest 12:51:12 & B10 rushes to protect her food; M leans pick up some
scraps 12:51:36 & feeds it to B10; B10 continues to self-feed; M moves over
to pantry to check for scraps 12:59:13; B10 starts swallowing the pelt 1:00:21
and the tail disappears down her throat at 1:00:40; M looks in nest & seems
amazed that B10 ate the entire squirrel (lol) 1:01:21; B10 squats down 1:11:44
then lays down 11:11:47; B10 stands up 1:19:32; B10 comes over to M 1:20:10
& M hops to RB 1:20:12, M out 1:20:22; B10 does some boot-scooting 1:23:16
then spreads wings 1:23:22 & waggles tail, lays down 1:23:36; rain starts
just before 1:30; B10 gets up 2:50:42, picks up a pine cone 2:52:56,
wingersizes 2:54:51, to cam pole 2:55:35, to nest 2:56:10, rouses 2:56:44, more
wingersizing 2:56:55, to 11 o'clock branch 3:07:07, back to nest 4:55:54; plays
w/stick 4:59:16 & pecks around in pantry; to LB 5:01:11, back to nest
5:02:17, to 11:00 o'clock branch 5:03:26, to nest 5:09:29, to LB 5:12:10;
rouses 6:37:49, to nest 6:37:51, PS 6:38:41, out BSD 6:40:10pm.
