Bel's Nest Log: M wakes up from a restful night
5:56:21am, preens, then catches a few more Zzzzzzz's before calling to D
6:29:31 & getting up to start her day 6:29:52; B wants food but M snuggles
instead 6:31:19.
S/C#1-M up flapping wings 6:47:43, M out BD
6:48:03; D moves into view on LB 6:48:39, he moves down LB & steps into net
6:49:12 & to pantry to eat; B10 PS 6:49:35; D checks on B & snuggles
down 6:51:43: IR light off 6:52:34.
S/C#2-M in FD 7:35:55 D chatters at her, D gets
up 7:37:16, D to LB 7:37:25 & out 7:37:34; feeding 7:38:08; B10 PS 7:44:05;
M moves a stick 7:45:20, then straddles B10 7:45:36; … M stands up 9:35:57, M
to LB 9:37:55 & out 9:38:04, B10 is alone, chirping in the sunshine &
looking around, B10 takes several cat naps, stretches out right foot 9:54:38, M
returns from her fly about, comes in FD 9:59:36; feeding 10:04am; M vocal
10:31:17, D lands on LB 10:31:33 & is vocal, both look to the sky, D flies
off (without coming to the nest) @ 10:40 (as seen on Appr Cam); M steps on
B10's head 10:46:22 and B10 sits up & tells her all about it then crawls
under her 10:46:33; M gets up 11:53:06 & stretches 11:53:11; B10 PS
11:54:20, feeding 11:55:10; B10 arranges the fluff 12:11:36; M out BD 12:38:30;
M back via LB 12:39:31pm, to nest 12:41:04.
S/C#3-M back out BD 12:59:12; D in BSD
12:59:45; B10 PS 1:00:30; feeding 1:01:17; D moves a twig 1:16:25 then settles
in to cuddle with B10; another feeding 2:07:45; D snuggles w/B10 2:22:30; B10
sits up 2:24:26, read to look around, crawls a bit away from D 2:25:00,
surveying the domain like a big eaglet; B10 crawls to the back of the nest in
D's shadow 2:35:00 to take a nap; B10 PS's 2:47:59 while D digs in the pantry
& eats a few bites; feeding 2:50:50; D moves back over to the bole 3:05:50;
feeding 3:14:37. Chortling heard from nearby 3:48:50, D alerts 3:48:55, M in to
LB 3:48:59 (she drops fluff on the way in as seen from ApprCam), M & D both
alerting & tracking something while B10 stays low in the bole, intruder
flies by on Appr Cam around 3:51, P's still alerting, M cranes her neck to
stare hard at the intruder 3:55:08 & 3:56:12, D moves to the back of nest
3:57:10, D rouses 3:57:33, D out LSD 3:57:45, M flies across nest & out BD
3:57:59, D in to LB 3:59:41, D cranes to stare at something 4:11:18, D chatters
4:14:10.
S/C#4-M in to LB next to D 4:14:32 both vocally
alerting, M to nest 4:14:58, D flies off 4:18:07; B10 sits up & looks at M
4:18:56; feeding 4:26:54 & 5:20pm; M moves over to cuddle w/B10 5:52:55; D
in to LB 6:47:09 & M chirps softly, D to nest 6:49:40, M stretches 6:50:53,
D flies out BD 6:50:58; M feeds B10 a couple of bites 6:52:39; snuggle time
6:55:17; IR light on 6:58:04. M tucks head to sleep 7:07:22.
